Most frequent questions and answers about our Winter Camp
You drop off your child(ren) anytime after 7:30am. If you drop your child(ren) off after 9:15am, please let us know in advance because the front doors will be locked at 9:15am.
You can pick up your child anytime you want!. We ask that you let us know in advance if you are going to pick up your child before 4:30pm. The latest you can pick up your child is at 6:00pm.
Yes! Please pack your child a lunch just how you would typically pack them a lunch to bring to school. We can not store food in a fridge or heat food up in a microwave for campers. However, their lunch is packed for them is how they will have to eat it.
Yes! We do have a snack time in the morning at the start of camp as well as an afternoon snack time. Campers stay very active throughout the day and will be hungry by the time snack time rolls around. If you know your child typically gets very hungry, we recommend you pack them multiple snacks.
We do have snacks and water bottles available for purchase. Each item is $1. You are welcome to send your child to camp with a dollar or you can create a snack tab for them!
For the safety of our campers and staff members, the use of electronic devices in camp are not allowed.
When picking up your child(ren), please pull around to the back of the building and pull up to the curb. Text the school phone number (815-258-5559) that you are here for your child and we will bring them right out to you. You don’t even need to get out of your car!
If you plan to pick your child up before 3:00pm, please text us that you are here, and pick them up through the front doors of the school. Anytime after 3:00pm, we will only be dismissing campers through the back doors.
